Job Description

Dupuy Group is currently looking to hire a General Equipment Mechanic to assist with the Engineering department.

What you will be working on:

  • Performing skilled work in the repair and maintenance of company equipment.
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair problems with company equipment, power and non-powered equipment
  • Perform inspection of assigned equipment; replace or repair faulty parts and equipment; perform tune-ups and repairs on engines; remove and disassemble units.
  • Diagnose and repair brake, steering cooling, transmissions, differentials, electrical, air and hydraulics system.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections; assist with facility maintenance
  • Can demonstrate consistently the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and communicate well across all departments. He or she shall fully optimize their use of time in conducting preventative maintenance, work orders, rebuilds and troubleshooting of equipment.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency; Technical degree preferred
  • Previous experience as an equipment mechanic technician or craft skills parallel to an equipment mechanic
  • Must have own tools/ability to purchase own tools
  • Valid driver’s license; TWIC card required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
