Describe the essential functions of the position:
Sanitation Workers are responsible for maintaining the warehouse areas both inside and outside.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Sweeping
- Keeping aisles free of debris
- Using tools available to help reduce insect activity
- Clean floors, restrooms, and other assigned areas
- Be able to push dust mop and cart containing cleaning tools

Standard Operating Procedures:
- Maintain a safe environment in work area
- Review procedures for issues, report defects to the proper individuals, and point out possible improvements
- Follow FSMA and GMP guidelines
- Maintain departmental good housekeeping standards; 5S and clean and orderly workstation
- Other duties as defined by manager/supervisor
Quality:
- Comply with all procedures and specifications to ensure product safety and integrity
- Understand company Quality Control Plan
- Properly document all work procedures
Cost:
- Comply with all procedures to help reduce cost and eliminate waste
- Suggest improvements to help reduce costs and improve procedures
Delivery:
- Knowledge and understand of the sanitation process
- Knowledge and understanding of the sanitation schedule
- Assist quality and operations in troubleshooting sanitation issues
Safety:
- Comply with all FSMA regulations and department safety rules
- Follow all guidelines pertaining to production procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment by cleaning all dust, debris, etc from immediate work area
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisor

Regulatory:
- Maintain an understanding and comply with regulatory requirements including FSMA, FDA, and OSHA
|
Training:
- Complete all required safety, quality, and sanitation training
- Attend and participate in training as it relates to job duties
|
Competencies/Abilities
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
|
Education/Job Knowledge/Experience
- High School Diploma/Equivalency
|
