The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance, repair, and overall condition of buildings, facilities, and operational equipment at assigned Dupuy locations. This includes forklifts, yard trucks, trailers, material-handling equipment, and other facility systems.
The Maintenance Manager leads maintenance personnel, coordinates contractors and vendors, manages preventive maintenance activities, and ensures facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe, reliable, and efficient operating condition. Specific responsibilities may vary by location based on facility size, equipment, operations, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Supervise, train, and develop maintenance team members.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and resolve maintenance and safety concerns.
- Plan and oversee repairs, installations, and facility improvement projects.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules, records, parts, supplies, and maintenance expenses.
- Coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with Company safety, quality, GMP, and PPE requirements.
- Partner with Operations and site leadership to minimize equipment downtime.
- Address performance concerns and provide coaching and feedback to maintenance team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance, facilities, industrial, or related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
- Warehouse, industrial, forklift, or material-handling equipment experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills; ability to learn Maintenance Pro Plus.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift or obtain required certification.
