JOB SUMMARY: 

The Associate Brand Manager is a key contributor to the LALA U.S. Marketing team supporting the Promised Land Dairy brand.  In this role you will be responsible for executing brand strategies, creating marketing plans, guiding creative and supporting product development in order to drive value and grow the brand. Additionally, this role will provide analytical support of Marketing initiatives and manage day-to-day interactions with external agencies.  Successful candidates in this role are highly collaborative and able to think creatively.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: 

  • Tactical execution of assigned brand’s Strategic Brand Framework through creation of brand’s annual Operating Playbook – develop and execute campaigns, product launches, etc.
  • Work closely with external agencies on planning and execution of brand plans and initiatives (media, campaigns, artwork creation, etc.).
  • Develop brand assets and guide Marketing Coordinator on asset rollout (brand assets, factbooks, sell story, sell sheets, etc.).
  • Create and update social media strategy for each relevant platform (IG, FB, TT, Pin, etc.). Drive follower engagement and organic following with timely content.
  • Support Senior Brand Manager with regular business analysis – working with syndicated data to provide monthly brand health and program performance assessments.
  • Analyze category, brand, and competitor performance data to support company benchmarking efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain on innovation and renovation initiatives – identifying new opportunities and completing required Marketing tasks for prioritized initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales and Shopper Marketing to ensure proper execution, support, and program effectiveness of Marketing initiatives.
  • Create monthly internal newsletters to inform the cross-functional teams on Marketing activations and media spend.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years Marketing experience or relevant internship experience.
  • Experience in consumer product marketing is preferred.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to organizational changes.
  • Ability to plan, manage and measure multiple projects.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with others.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS 

  • This is a hybrid onsite/home-office position that reports to our Dallas, TX office at least 3 days per week.
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is necessary.
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending on the project or assignment.
