Marketing Communications Manager

Job Description

JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY):

This role is responsible for ensuring that our brands are represented consistently and with the right messaging to our consumers and internally. In this role you will be responsible for executing brand strategies, creating marketing plans to drive value and grow the brand equity. Additionally, this role will provide analytical support of Marketing initiatives and manage day-to-day interactions with external agencies.  Successful candidates in this role are highly collaborative and able to think creatively.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Develop the marketing communication guidelines for LALA US Brands ensuring consistent themes, messaging, tone of voice and branding throughout all communication touch points.
  • Support Senior Manager in the determination of key drive periods for each brand, develop relevant marketing campaigns and activations for each of the key drive periods and ensure alignment with Brand Managers, Shopper Marketing and Trade.
  • Manage brand’s websites ensuring it’s aligned with brand messaging and establishing process for Brand Managers to update it when new products are launched/discontinued.
  • Work closely with external agencies on planning and execution of brand plans and initiatives (media, campaigns, artwork creation, etc.), leading weekly media and creative agencies status meetings, ensuring tactical plans are executed as planned and approving all creative content and media plans.
  • Manage influencer program platform, ensuring effective investment for the brands.
  • Lead major brand activations, creating annual brand activation calendars for planned programs and ensuring successful execution of scheduled events.
  • Develop brand assets to support all marketing campaigns for the brands managed.
  • Partner with Sales and Shopper Marketing to ensure proper execution, support, and program effectiveness of Marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate and inform the cross-functional teams updates on branding, Marketing activations and media spend.
  • Manage media creative asset budget.
  • Media spend and activation programs recaps, with recommendations for improvement.

 


WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

  • 5+ years Consumer Marketing or Marketing Agency experience.
  • Experience in consumer product marketing is preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

 

FORMAL EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is necessary.
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending on the project or assignment.
  • Must be able to travel 10-15% of the time.
