Our community mental health center is seeking a full time Supported Employment Specialist to work with our Community Support Services department to assist individuals with securing employment. The primary focus is to work closely with the client’s treatment team and NH Vocational Rehabilitation to actively engage the client in all dimensions of obtaining and retaining employment. This includes prioritizing and addressing the client’s needs, identifying available community resources, and facilitating local contacts with employers.
The position requires a high degree of self-motivation, creativity, and a focus on outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation, Psychology, Education or related Human Services is required; two years of experience in human services field and/or sales experience a plus. Minimum of one year of training/experience in vocational rehabilitation and support preferred. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office is needed.
