Summary of Responsibilities:

The business support manager oversees the floating team ensuring training is complete. This role also oversees the admin. team and leads the day-to-day operations.

Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:

·         Oversee the floating and admin. teams’ daily operations and manage their schedules

·         Ensure and track training classes and courses

·         Create a floating tool kit that will live on-site

·         Conduct monthly touch base meetings

·         Host quarterly team events and communicate event information to attendees

·         Track event RSVP’s

·         Prepare reports for quarterly financial reviews

·         Review the process with the regional manager for client requests for quarterly check-ins

·         Review MOR/track weekly schedule for the following month

·         Discuss delays and ways to eliminate them in the future

·         Ensure deliverables are received on time

·         Act as a mentor for the floating and admin. teams

·         Manage and review the RMS guide compliance workbook quarterly

·         Provide monthly updates to vice presidents

·         Ensure AR reports are completed by the 15th of each month in Egnyte

·         Responsible for updating clients quarterly, including a legislative update

·         Update clients on any upcoming programs

·         Host training as needed, including property manager eviction training

·         Track RRIO compliance and registration

·         Performs other tasks as assigned

Education and Experience:

·         High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

·         Three to five years of customer service experience is required

·         One to three years of property management experience is preferred

 

Skills and Requirements:

·         Ability to adhere to the company’s best practices and Federal Fair Housing requirements during all phases of the prospect and resident lifecycle, from initial prospect inquiry to resident move-out (i.e. touring, application processing, managing security deposits, rental rates, lease administration, resident complaints, legal processes, renewals, etc.)

 

·         Familiarity with multi-family housing management and related terminology, budgeting, and commitment to excellence and customer service

·         Strong organizational and time-management skills

·         Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management effectively and sensitively

·         Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

·         Sensitivity to confidential matters is required

·         Thorough understanding of local, state, and Federal Fair Housing laws

·         Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency

·         Capability to read, write comprehend, and converse in English

·         Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others

·         Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned

 

Scheduling:

·         Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working overtime, weekends, and non-traditional holidays

 

Environment:

·         Exposure to environment typically found in an office building
