We are currently looking for a Director of Product Management to be a key leader in our growing digital products strategy. This is a unique opportunity to help build and scale a portfolio of products focused on enhancing wellness around the world with digital products including video and audio. We need an experienced product leader to drive strategy, vision and execution in one of the fastest growing markets for fitness.

 

In this role you will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, support teams, marketing, legal and other cross-functional team members within the organization to deliver a market leading digital offering, enabling our customers to accelerate their move to a digital experience. You will also drive key relationships with partners, ensuring that the selection, ongoing maintenance and growth of those relationships continue to deliver value to MINDBODY and our users.

 

You will lead the future of MINDBODY's product offering, focusing on solving complex problems with elegant easy to use experiences. We are looking for a customer focused, data driven, resourceful, team-oriented individual who demonstrates an ability to set and communicate vision, work across teams throughout the organization, strong technical and business acumen.

 

In addition to leading development teams to deliver on your Roadmap you will lead and mentor other product managers, ensuring that they are able to apply product best practices to deliver on their own goals and outcomes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in product processes, team building and professional development of their team members.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Lead the development of MINDBOY Virtual Products strategy, defining vision and driving crisp development execution.

  • Create, drive and own the product roadmap for Digital Products.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from ideation, to planning and execution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our users and their needs through market research, customer interviews, customer visits and analysis of user behavior.

·         Drive accountability to performance against a set of KPIs related to usage, revenue, customer satisfaction and inventory quality and growth.

  • Develop a deep understanding and empathy for our customers throughout the world.
  • Hypothesize, measure and learn. Continuously test and leverage insights to inform decisions
  • Represent the team with cross-functional partners and senior leaders in order to align resources and prioritization.
  • Lead and grow a team of product managers.

 

 

MINIMUM ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

·         8+ years’ experience in product management delivering highly successful and innovative software products.

·         Experience working with online video (archive, VOD, streaming) or a technical background in media.

·         A proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams across the organization.

·         Great interpersonal and communication skills that shine when you’re talking with a customer or engaging a cross-functional audience.

·         Comfort in high-level business discussions with internal and external executives.

·         Demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions and back up assumptions and recommendations.

·         Demonstrated ability to work with engineering teams to discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, and evaluate new ideas.

·         Experience in delivering and supporting products in multiple locales that have unique localization and go to market needs.

·         The ability to manage high complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity.

·         Proven ability to deliver on commitments.

·         Proficient in the Agile Scrum processes.
