Today, the Company's mission and activity is the same; make bikes go faster on the race track and take those leanings to make impactful products for riders around the world. Since the Company's inception in 1979, we have had partnerships to run factory race programs with Suzuki, Yamaha, Ducati and Harley-Davidson in drag racing, road racing and flat track.

Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Position is responsible for repairing and installing advanced production/manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and makes more complicated repairs or adjustments as needed. Respond to facility emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, electrical power supplies and control circuits
  • Respond to all repair requests in a timely manner, communicate clearly with all parties involved
  • Work independently searching manuals for repair procedures and replacement parts
  • Install or repair air /water lines
  • Respond to facility related issues, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.…
  • Knowledge pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic principles
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed (lock out/tag out)
  • Work with outside manufacturing service engineers to repair equipment
  • Maintain stock of frequently used parts/materials to minimize shipping and down time
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Efficiently and effectively manage time

Position Requirements

  • Must possess basic diagnosis/troubleshooting skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach and move about the facility
  • Must have the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Must have the ability to listen to and follow written and verbal instruction
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Supervisors

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Experience with electro-mechanical troubleshooting to include building systems and equipment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in conducting predictive and preventative maintenance
  • Experience in the repair of material handling equipment
  • Must have your own tools, specialty tools will be provided
  • Experience repairing CNC Mill/Lathe is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Organizational Overview

Reports to:  Maintenance Manager

Internal Relationships:   

  • May interact with and receive direction daily from Department Lead Person and/or Team Lead
  • Will interact with departmental personnel
  • May interact with multiple departments

External Relationships:  

  • Outside manufacturing companies 

Physical Environment

  • The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions, use of personal protective equipment is required
