Job Description

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for Spatial Management Project Engineer

  • Managing facility spatial surveys and managing the use and maintenance of CAFM and CIFM data
  • Develop and manage project schedule and plans.
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects and the ability to communicate effectively using oral and written communication.
  • Interpreting and applying GSA PBS National Business Space Assignment National Contract for Spatial Data Management and current GSA Policy
  • Perform risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, mitigating risks, communicating, and escalating risks and issues.
  • Support the Project Manager with development of briefings, agendas, and other general documentation.
  • Support a continuous improvement process by providing recommendations on improving service sand processes.
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College (required).
  • 5 years in performing and managing facility spatial surveys and managing the use and maintenance of CAFM and CIFM data is required
  • Knowledge and experience interpreting and applying GSA PBS National Business Space Assignment National Contract for Spatial Data Management and current GSA Policy
  • Experience in performing and managing facility spatial surveys and managing the use and maintenance of CAFM and CIFM data is required.
  • Expert knowledge with 3D Imaging GSA Policies

Preferred experience

  • Expertise in eSMART preferred
  • Familiarity with architecture, engineering and construction is preferred.

  • Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov’t security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening
  • 2+ years successfully working from home or remote location, with minimal supervision.
  • Operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processValue and protect company, colleague, and customer data.
  • Operate within a home office environment that provides adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
