Description/Job Summary:
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for Senior Project Manager responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Supports a variety of contract administration tasks (including but not limited to): supporting quality control, meeting minutes, review of CBAs and Wage Determinations, review team performance with customer and support positive CPARS results. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible of of the safety and the wellbeing of all staff working on the project and supporting required documentation required for documentable events.
Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Required Experience/Skills:
Shall have at minimum seven (7) years’ experience as a Project Manager with PMP certifications in facility building operations in Federal owned buildings. Shall be experienced in the administration, scheduling, and coordination of a work force for maintenance of a government building. Employees responsible for performing/approving such work must possess up-to-date licenses and certifications as required by the District of Columbia.
