Position Overview
The Program Administrative Support Specialist provides administrative, writing, and research support for a Sexual Assault and Harassment Prevention and Response (SAHPR) program within a federal environment. This role supports policy development, documentation, and communication efforts related to sensitive subject matter and requires strong judgment, professionalism, and advanced writing skills.
Key Responsibilities

Support the development, review, modification, and maintenance of SAHPR-related policies, procedures, and guidelines

Assist with drafting and updating program guidance, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and frequently asked questions (FAQs) to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility

Write and edit high-quality documents that clearly explain and interpret program positions related to sexual assault and harassment prevention and response

Draft and edit responses to ensure accuracy, clarity, conciseness, and adherence to established style guidelines

Conduct editorial reviews for grammar, style, consistency, and clarity, considering intended audiences and potential policy implications

Assist in preparing and editing materials intended for a variety of internal and external audiences

Perform research and analysis to support the development or revision of policies, procedures, guidance, and informational materials

Support technical writing and editing assignments that require analysis and synthesis of complex or sensitive information

Exercise discretion and professionalism when working with sensitive or potentially triggering subject matter
