JAIS:
Established under the auspices of the American Embassy in 2001, the Jerusalem American International school is a branch of The Walworth Barbour American International School in Israel (WBAIS). It is a MSA accredited, fully independent, co-educational Pre-K - 9 international school offering an American program in an international setting.
JAIS is situated in a residential area of Jerusalem in the Goldstien youth village. We have renovated classrooms and a new yard as well as having access to communal facilities such as the swimming pool and gym.
JAIS is a small and warm school where every student is included, valued and set up to thrive.

The Successful Candidate will be:
-
Fluent English
-
Have a Degree
-
Have a Valid Special Needs Teacher Qualification
-
Experience in developing, teaching and reviewing IEPs
-
Experience in assessing student individual needs, implementing and monitoring programs.
-
Experience in partnering with all the faculty, cascading good practice and need to know information to address student needs.
● Demonstrated successful experience in teaching different types of learners.

● Ability to teach and differentiate to learners across K to grade 8, sometimes in mixed-age,
ability or interest groupings.

Are qualified, experienced and able to take on coordination of the Inclusion Department.
