Northeast Family Services of Illinois is hiring for our Springfield location! 

We are an established and growing agency specializing in providing therapy services to individuals and families via telehealth, in-person, or in-home. We are currently looking for passionate, growth-oriented master's level clinical professional for a new full time role as a Clinical Assessor in our Springfield location!

The Clinical Assessor is a master’s level clinical professional who will complete an Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) utilizing the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) approved instrument; the Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Assessment of Needs and Strengths (IM+CANS) Assessment for Medicaid enrolled children under the age of 21 in Illinois. The Clinical Assessor will meet with the individual, parent/guardian face-to-face, by phone, or by video to complete the intake and assessment process.

Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related human services field 
  • Licensure in the state of IL (LPC, LSW, MFT; LCPC, LCSW or LMFT)
  • IM+CANS certification required 
  • One year of related clinical experience in Community Mental Health working with children, adolescents, adults, and families 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills 
  • Proficient with supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals 
  • Experience in quality management preferred 
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
