Northeast Family Services is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join our growing New York team and support the agency’s mission and core values!  
  
The Assistant Vice President of New York, in partnership with the executive team, works collaboratively to oversee services including Outpatient, In-Home Therapy, Building Bridges, and other programs as they are developed and assigned within the state of New York.  
 
The AVP is responsible for the effective management of services including oversight of quality, compliance, outcomes, staffing safety, service delivery and financial performance. The AVP will help to create and implement a region-wide behavioral health system across the continuum of care and will have oversight and management responsibilities over behavioral health options. This position will be the main contact between the Senior VP and Vice President, and the assigned state Program Directors.

AVP Qualifications: 

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field 

  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of New York required

  • At least five years of experience in the management of behavioral health operations in a behavioral health setting 

  • An in-depth working knowledge of administration and operations with a strong emphasis on, and an understanding of, financial management, strategic planning, client care, quality assessment and improvement, risk management, employee relations and human resource management 

  • Knowledge of OMH regulations (Article 31 and CFTSS) preferred 

  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the state of New York; valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle 

  • Experience with networking and starting up programs is preferred 

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel 

  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR) 

  • Understanding of New York's service array and needs of the community 

  • Ability to assist with the discovery and development of grants, contracts and related tasks 

  • Ability to manage multiple programs and/or service systems 

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required

Compensation: 

Full Time, Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
