Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.
The Access Control Technician will be responsible for the security of the Nammo Perry facility and personnel; completing and submitting daily security reports; physically inspecting the company grounds and performing Monthly Security checks.
Schedule: Friday - Sunday from 8AM - 8PM

What You’ll Do: Precision in Action
- Guard property against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry to the facility
- Verify employee and visitor access by scanning and verifying employee badges upon entry and exiting the property
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs to create/respond to E-Mail using Outlook, utilize Outlook calendars to verify events taking place onsite
- Utilize paging system to announce Range activities, severe weather impacts and to reach personnel onsite
- Provide assistance to Human Resources to secure and escort personnel off site when appropriate
- Maintain sign-in/sign-out log for visitors; maintain other required security documents as needed
- Take badge photos, issue and collect badges.
- Notify appropriate departments when visitor have arrived.
- Notify designated personnel if problem occurs after normal workday.
- Take telephone messages before and after normal workday.
- Must keep guardhouse and surrounding area clean and neat at all times.
- First responder coverage when necessary
- Issue keys with appropriate approval
- Perform vehicle inspections.
- Verify storage areas are secured as required
- Other duties as assigned
What Dedicated Teammates Bring
- No experience required; 1 year of security related experience preferred1.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate user experience with Microsoft Outlook
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be safety and security minded
- Must be able to complete First Aid and CPR training for certification
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be attentive to detail; thorough in completing work tasks
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive
