About This Role

As the Strategy Consultant you will drive the growth and success of our Customers by inspiring them and leading them to successful outcomes with Personalization and Testing strategy. In this role you will be a key contributor to enhancing the value of Monetate to clients, increasing client maturity, and identifying ways to enhance our client lifecycle. You will act as trusted advisor who will build meaningful client relationships, deliver measurable value, and accelerate our Customers’ journey towards outcomes and success.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with clients to define success and turn Personalization and Testing strategies into roadmaps for increasing maturity and value from the Monetate platform.
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge testing and personalization strategies to drive client success.
  • Act as a visionary thought-leader, inspiring clients to take decisive actions based on personalized strategies crafted for their unique needs.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to share insights and collaborate with team members on refining testing and personalization strategies.
  • Ensure quality delivery of strategic engagements, internal processes, and organizational improvements that are backed by data to drive retention and ROI.
  • Continuously focus on increasing client satisfaction, deepening client relationships, and helping clients improve their CX maturity through world class strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Sales, Success, and Professional Services) to deliver continuous improvements to process, deliverables, and client engagements.
  • Provide data & insights to demonstrate the value of Strategy Consulting and the impact on client retention and ROI.
  • Meet with prospects to communicate the value provided by Strategy Consulting and Services. 

Skills & Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in crafting and executing successful testing and personalization strategies, with a focus on A/B testing, Conversion Rate Optimization, ROI modeling, and segmentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and influence clients towards strategic actions through personalized consulting approaches.
  • Proven success in improving conversion rates or average order value by developing and delivering strategic programs recommendations – preferably as a Manager of eCommerce, Manager of Site Merchandising, Head of Personalization, Manager of Digital Optimization
  • Deep experience with analytical story-telling/constructing the story behind the numbers
  • Adept at managing client relations and projects, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and clients, guide change management, and influence executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to present and deliver insights to a variety of audiences up to the executive-level.
  • Drive towards action with a strategic and outcomes-driven mindset to deliver value to our clients and revenue for the business.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with marketing techniques related to optimization, targeting, segmentation, and testing.
  • 3+ years of experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker, Adobe, etc.
  • Expertise in 1P data collection and activation strategies, including audience segmentation for personalization experiences.
  • Strong ability to problem solve and understand complex business requirements to drive high impact customer experiences
  • Strong ability to understand technical concepts and translate them to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in a personalization software company or other relevant Martech company is a plus.
