About the Role:
- Review project plans and provide design services. Develop product solutions and prepare submittal drawings and calculations. Offer technical advice to support the integration of Contech’s products into site plans.
- Conduct structural analysis, hydraulic analysis, and geotechnical reviews. Provide drainage support for products such as corrugated metal pipe and plastic pipe.
- Work closely with in-house engineers, CAD Techs, Sales/Marketing Team, and external engineers. Provide technical support to the Operations/Manufacturing team for proper fabrication. Communicate and coordinate efforts with field sales staff and manufacturing team.
- Offer training and guidance to the team. Check work produced by team members for accuracy. Assist in the development of training programs and aids for Contech’s products.
- Maintain professional relationships and attend industry trade shows, seminars, and continuing education courses. Contribute to the writing and development of technical papers and product literature.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree.
- Structural, hydraulic, or geotechnical background preferred.
- EIT certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in civil site project preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- AutoCAD skills proficiency preferred.
- Some exposure to Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
