Truce will be opening in mid-May. Positions are available to start on 5/4.

Hours of Operation:
7:00 AM – 9:30 PM. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We're searching for fabulous Expeditors to join our team!!

Position Summary: Our Expeditor role is a vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring smooth and efficient food service. You'll manage the flow of orders, communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff, and ultimately deliver food to guests in a timely and accurate manner.  

  • Mindset: Gatekeeper of speed, accuracy, and quality through using senses, skills, and intuition.
  • Order Management: Process orders, ensure accuracy, and coordinate with the kitchen to prioritize and prepare dishes.
  • Communication: Maintain constant communication between the kitchen and waitstaff, relaying information about order status, special requests, and any necessary adjustments. 
  • Food Delivery: Run food from the kitchen to the tables, ensuring proper plating and presentation. 
  • Legendary Hospitality: Address any customer complaints or concerns related to food service. 
  • Maintaining Efficiency: Assist with other tasks as needed, such as setting tables, clearing plates, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. 
  • Knowledge of the Menu: Be knowledgeable about the menu items and preparation methods to answer questions and assist customers. 
  • Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.  

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Ability to communicate and give directions, both verbally and in writing.   
  • Ability to listen effectively, process information quickly and accurately, and transfer knowledge in a variety of settings.
  • Ability to get things done with and through other people.   
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Calls upon experience to assess opportunities and risks, validate assumptions, make decisions, and take swift, appropriate actions. 
  • Demonstrates flexibility and mental agility when assessing and responding to various routine and non-routine situations.   
  • Ability to act decisively with or without sufficient information.     
  • Ability to work effectively with other kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures. 

Qualifications: 

  • Above average math skills.
  • A positive attitude and good manners.
  • Neat personal appearance and proper personal hygiene.
  • Valid Server Permit (ABC Card).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location. Fluency in English may be essential for certain customer service stations within this position.
