About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for safety incidents (accidents/near misses)
- Ensure contractor understanding, implementation, and consistent adherence to safe work rules and practices
- Develop detailed, step-by-step task plans within work orders to clearly define the sequence of maintenance activities.
- Determine the required manpower (number of personnel) and estimated duration for each task, including equipment downtime requirements.
- Conduct field visits to review and validate the necessity, feasibility, and alignment of work re-quests with current plant conditions.
- Allocate approximately 30% of time for on-site validation and 70% for work order management within the system.
- Assess the availability of all required resources (materials, tools, manpower) and proactively address any shortages.
- Provide support to Maintenance Coordinators in the development of weekly and outage sched-ules and maintenance programs.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in monthly budget tracking, performance reporting to the team, and the implementation of corrective actions for any deviations.
- Monitor the availability of defined critical spare parts according to criticality studies
- Maintain daily communication with the Purchasing department to track the progress of parts and supplies and prioritize critical orders.
- Provide feedback to the Reliability Coordinator regarding planning requirements for updating maintenance plans. Achieve target compliance for monthly KPIs related to planning and scheduling effectiveness.
About You
We Require:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen
- Mechanical engineering experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cement manufacturing or related industry as maintenance Inspector or Maintenance Planner
