Job Description

Degenkolb is again offering a summer internship program for future engineers! We have openings for Seniors and graduate students in the following office locations: San Francisco, Oakland, Orange County, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Seattle. We offer a hybrid work schedule.

In the structural engineering field, a good GPA can only get you so far. Hands-on experience is the key to the possibilities awaiting you upon graduation. As an intern, you will spend the summer working at Degenkolb on active project teams and getting to know us, our clients, and our work. The goal of this program is to give top students an understanding of how a structural engineering practice operates to complement your academic career and to create a recruitment pipeline. We are very fortunate to hire many former interns who wish to join the firm full-time upon completing their studies.

With your application, please submit your resume, school transcripts (unofficial are fine), and a targeted cover letter describing your enthusiasm for structural design.

We have a Scholarship Program for hired Interns that best demonstrate a commitment to furthering the standards of the profession and pursuit of knowledge.
