The Role
Fusion’s Senior Implementation Consultant plays a key role within our Professional Services team. This role works with clients to analyze, design, and configure supported solutions in the Fusion Framework®, built on the Force.com cloud platform.
This role, which interfaces with clients, project managers, product managers, and developers as you:
- Respond to and manage client requests
- Translate client business requirements into business process models, data models and platform solutions
- Develop expertise with the Force.com platform services including the following activities: Configure custom objects, fields, and page layouts; build workflow and approval processes; build formulas and validation rules; build reports & dashboards; Build Flows and Process Builders; configure user roles, profiles, record sharing, and security setting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, preferably including experience with or coursework in relational database design; logic-based programming; enterprise systems analysis and development; object-oriented programming; SDLC; and QA
- Knowledge of financial services or banking is a plus
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating with client managers, directors and VPs
- Customer support oriented
- Ability to be a self-starter, working independently and as part of a team, especially remotely
- This is not a developer position, but those skills are desired
- Responsible for providing best practice recommendations to a client
- Responsible for demonstrating transparent client communication to drive to right-fit client solutions
- Soft skills to build client rapport relationship while maintaining scope
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project
- Responsible for translating business requirements to configuration of technical solutions
- Must possess critical thinking skills to provide consultative solutions that meet both client business objectives and requirements
Qualifications (Education and Certifications)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Business Administration or a related discipline
- 3-7 years of relevant experience as defined by the responsibilities listed above, preferably in the SaaS software space
- Salesforce App Builder Certification preferred
- Salesforce.com or Force.com experience
- Experience in a client-facing role
Milestones for the First Six Months
In one month, you'll:
- Complete all HR-related onboarding requirements
- Participate in Fusion New Hire Bootcamp and Industry trainings
- Start project work (assignment or shadow)
In three months, you’ll:
- Demonstrate consistent use of Fusion tools and procedures
- Begin project work with small to medium cases with manager support
- Start to work with project manager to contribute and collaborate on larger project scopes
- Start delivering system demos to clients with assistance
In six months, you’ll:
- Lead system demos to clients with support from your team
- Be able to communicate technical information to clients
- Begin to build rapport with clients
- Independently drive the successful completion of assigned work
This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the states of New York, California, and Colorado.
