POSITION SUMMARY:
The payroll clerk is responsible for reviewing documents for our recently onboarded Team Members, proofing reports for errors, filing, and completing many miscellaneous responsibilities. If the opportunity presents itself, they can move into other areas such as Team Member transfers, insurance, or legal.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validate that all onboarding documents are received and filled out correctly
- Data entry
- Verify accuracy of data entry
- Proof various reports for errors
- Photocopy records to fulfill legal requests, subpoenas, etc.
- Sort through and distribute incoming mail
- Payroll batch maintenance
- Verify raise rates and proof information on raise letters
- Badge deactivations
- Work with seasonal projects such as insurance open enrollment, Profit Sharing, W-2’s
- Track Team Member leave of absences
