As a Facilities Service Coordinator, you will be the conductor of all things facility related. You will be the go-to person for hiring Service Vendors to complete preventative maintenance and seasonal repairs!
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday role that plays a big part in making sure our store facilities are top notch places for our Team Members to work and our Customers to shop!
If you are motivated to work with Menards stores to help maintain their store facilities, have an interest in everything that makes the store tick, such as floor care, janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, asphalt and concrete, doors, windows, and roofs, etc, then this is the job for you!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hire Service Vendors using a bidding process for preventative maintenance, seasonal repairs and routing maintenance to stores
- Schedule services and coordinate with GM staff
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, soliciting bids, negotiating contracts, and managing service agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service contracts, and equipment warranties.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and address issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Position Requirements:
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge in bidding and estimating
- Willingness to learn
- Bachelor's degree in a business related field OR an Associate's degree in business and equivalent of 2 years retail or related experience
- Must be able to work full-time with the ability to put in overtime
